The Lord is at Hand
“Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:5-7
The Lord is at hand.
I think that that is something that a lot of us tend to forget when something like a pandemic happens.
I never thought I would see the day where I couldn’t even go to church on Sunday morning to gather and worship God with my family, but that is the reality of the time we are in.
It’s tough, that is for sure, but as long as we remember who is in control we know we have no reason to fear.
Even in times of chaos and confusion, it’s important that we remember who we belong to and where we find our comfort.
A verse that always helps is “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10
This verse tells us that God will strengthen us and help us. In times like these we may feel weak or scared but we have to remember that God has our back always, no matter what. He will never turn His back on us.
